Philips Hue Launches Wired Wall Modules to Integrate Non-Smart Lights

Philips Hue has launched its first wired wall modules, enabling non-smart lights to connect to its ecosystem for the first time. This innovative solution can be installed behind existing wall switches, expanding the brand’s reach into traditional lighting applications.

In addition to the wall modules, Philips Hue has introduced new affordable Play table and floor lamps as part of its Signe series. These products aim to provide stylish lighting options while enhancing the smart home experience.

The company also upgraded its E14 candle bulbs, which now feature a broader white light spectrum and Matter-over-Thread compatibility. These enhancements allow for improved connectivity and integration within the Hue smart lighting framework.

Philips Hue is renowned for its smart lighting solutions, and this launch marks a significant expansion into integrating non-smart lighting options. The development may appeal to customers who have traditional lighting but are eager to upgrade to a smart ecosystem, broadening the company’s market potential.
